Are Pets Allowed at Bass Harbor Campground?
We are pet friendly here! Site rental includes one pet, extra pet is $5 per day. Household pets only (no other animals will be permitted). Updated vaccination records must be made available upon request. You must pick up after your pet. Pets must be on a leash (no longer than 6 feet) at all times and under control of their owner. Pets must not be let tied or unattended at any time. No excessive barking or aggressive behavior. Campers are responsible for any injury or damage caused by any pet they bring to the campground. Bass Harbor Campground is not responsible for any injury or damage caused by pets. Service animals are always permitted. For the protection of, and in consideration of other persons, PET RULES WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED and there will be a fine of $25 per violation. Management reserves the right to ask that uncontrolled or aggressive pets be removed or to have the authorities take the animal to a local animal control facility.
