Ellacoya State Park occupies 600 feet of sandy shoreline on the southwest shore of Lake Winnipesaukee in Gilford, New Hampshire, approximately 30 miles north of Concord.
Ellacoya State Park operates 37 sites on Lake Winnipesaukee's southwest shore. The campground accommodates RVs up to 35 feet and tents. Thirty-two standard sites and 5 walk-to tent platforms make up the campground.
The 600-foot guarded beach provides swimming access. A 0.75-mile trail network supports hiking and winter recreation. The picnic area contains 40 tables and 6 cooking grills.
The park operates seasonally from late May through early October. Winter activities include snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. First Day Hikes occur each January 1 with nature programs in peak summer.
