South Arm Campground is a lakefront RV and tent campground in western Maine, 60 miles northwest of Augusta. The campground features 65 wooded sites, 38 wilderness tent sites, and a 40-slip marina on Richardson Lake.
South Arm Campground occupies a peninsula on Richardson Lake. The campground offers 65 wooded RV and tent sites. 50 percent of these sites sit directly on the lake.
All 65 main campground sites include 30-amp electric and water hookups. The campground provides 38 wilderness tent sites on lakesides and islands. These wilderness sites require canoe or boat access only.
The campground operates a marina with 40 slips and boat rentals. Two sandy beaches provide swimming access to Richardson Lake. The Appalachian Trail, Rapid River, and Upper Dam Pool sit within a short drive.
