About Viento State Park
Viento State Park is a Columbia River Gorge campground 60 miles east of Portland. This recreation area is a premier destination for windsurfing and kiteboarding, with direct river access and dramatic gorge views.
Viento State Park operates 55 campsites for RVs up to 45 feet. Each site provides water and 30-amp electrical connections. The park requires reservations through Oregon State Parks.
The park's day-use area includes a boat ramp and dock. Summer winds attract windsurfing and kiteboarding enthusiasts from across the Pacific Northwest. The Columbia River offers fishing opportunities for anglers.

What Amenities Does Viento State Park Offer?
Viento State Park provides a seasonal water spigot, picnic tables, and fire rings at each site. The day-use area includes a boat ramp, dock, and restroom facilities. No showers, laundry, or dump station are available on site.

Nightly rates start at $26 for a standard tent site and $36 for an RV site with electrical and water hookups. Additional vehicles incur a $7 per night surcharge. Oregon State Parks requires a $8 reservation fee per transaction.
